USD 305 Students Attend Book Award Ceremony
USD 305 Elementary students attended the William Allen White Book Award Ceremony in Topeka, Kansas on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Three students attended from Cottonwood Elementary School with 20 total students across the district. Students from Meadowlark Ridge Elementary were able to present the awards to Lindsey Currie for her book "Scri
tch Scratch" and to JL Esplin for her book "96 Miles". Students then toured William Allen White's home and visited Peter Pan Park. The district Librarians would like to give a special thanks to the Salina Education Foundation for funding this project since 2015.
